Dive into stop-motion animation, photogrammetry, and VR painting at Screen South’s newest instalment of Culture Camps – returning for Summer 2024!
We’ll be heading to Folkestone & Dover to bring kids & young people aged 9-13 an unforgettable adventure where creativity and technology collide. With support from trusted experts and mentors, participants will dive into a series of engaging activities with opportunities to discover amazing new skills.
Screen South’s Culture Camps are a fantastic opportunity for kids to explore their creativity and get to know new friends. With hands-on interactive learning sessions, opportunities to make new friends and collaborate creatively, and support and guidance from experts, there’s plenty of opportunities to learn new and exciting skills and build confidence.
Using Lego blocks and cameras provided by Screen South, participants will create their own characters and stories and bring them to life, frame-by-frame.
Using phones and tablets to create virtual 3D models of objects, participants will import them into their worlds to create new environments.
Using VR headsets, participants will enter a virtual world in which they can explore new forms of creativity as they paint in three dimensions.
