Screen South, a cultural development organisation with digital creativity at its heart, is recruiting for a Programme Manager.
Are you passionate about creative digital technology and film? Join Screen South as a Programme Manager and lead the opportunity to deliver innovative and impactful programmes for our regional creatives.
In this dynamic role, you’ll be at the forefront of planning and executing a variety of activities, including orientation sessions, workshops, masterclasses, and bespoke development programmes. You’ll have the opportunity to guide projects from initial ideas to showcase stages, working with cutting-edge technologies like VR, AR, 360-degree video, and more.
As Programme Manager, you will oversee all aspects of programme planning and delivery, supported by a talented team including the Tech Manager and Project Coordinators.
You will work closely with the Managing Director to develop new opportunities, manage budgets and contribute to reporting processes for funders and the Board. You will also be responsible for ensuring that every project meets high-quality standards and achieves its goals and outcomes.

Skills, knowledge and experience needed
- Creative vision: Ability to conceptualise and drive creative projects from inception to completion
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding and experience of the creative digital and film industry
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills to inspire and manage creative teams, fostering a collaborative environment
- Project Management: Proficiency in planning, executing, and overseeing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate ideas and updates to stakeholders and team members
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Terms & Conditions
Salary: the 0.5 pro rata salary for the role is £20,000 per annum (this is equivalent to £40,000 FTE.)
Hours: This is a Part-time contract based on 17.5 hours per week (equivalent to 2.5 days a week.) Some evening and weekend work may be required.
