We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to provide services to Screen South’s Accentuate Programme as Digital Content Editor. The brief is to predominantly support the digital communication activities and digital outputs for Accentuate’s ground-breaking Curating Visibility project. But there may also be other wider Accentuate work that you will also be promoting.
The Accentuate Programme is a specialist landmark programme providing opportunities for Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent people in the cultural sector. Accentuate is one of Screen South’s portfolio of programmes. Accentuate has recently successfully delivered Curating for Change https://curatingforchange.org Our follow-on project, Curating Visibility, will build on the success of Curating for Change but with a much more significant digital focus.
This is an important freelance contract for services to ensure that this nationally significant programme receives the public attention it deserves, and all digital outputs are fit for purpose and accessible to all.
This freelance contract for Services for Digital Content Editor is critical in developing the profile of Curating Visibility at the same time as building and maintaining the National profile of the Accentuate programme, and delivering and managing consistency and quality control across the following digital outputs:
– Project website
– Social media
– Press Releases and other associated communications and marketing
– Newsletter
– Providing advice and guidance on digital best practices within museums and cultural organisations
Total Fee available £12,000 (inclusive of VAT)
Total timeframe September 2024 – July 2026
