Romney Marsh Film Calendar

Screen South & Fifth Continent on Film invite you to join us in making a Film Calendar of the Romney Marsh

Fifth Continent and Screen South are looking for people of all ages to join us on a year-long project to create a film calendar of the Romney Marsh.

We invite you to send us a film clip between 1 and 2 minutes long from your home town on the Marsh. The content can be anything from wildlife visiting your garden, to shots of the changing seasons.

We would also be interested to have a record of any community initiatives during the current Covid-19 situation. Footage can be filmed on a mobile phone or film camera, whatever is easiest for you!

Screen South will edit each month’s content together and showcase it online via our website. At the end of the year we will have a film record of a year in the life of the Romney Marsh and its residents.

To make sure that your town or village is represented or to find out more information, please contact Screen South at: info@screensouth.org marking your e-mail 5th Continent Calendar and we will send you more details.

This opportunity if suitable for all ages and abilities.

We are happy to arrange group visits so you can find out more

You can work as a team or induvidually and you don’t have to send something every month, but it is helpful if you can.

Footage can be filmed on a mobile phone or a film camera and can be sent directly to Screen South with no editing needed.
