Screen South launch a workshop and 4 day course
around VR and AR development as part of the Hi3 Network
What is Immersive StoryLab?
As part of the Hi3 Network, Screen South and award winning creatives Simon Wilkinson and Myra Appannah of BRiGHTBLACK will be running a taster session, followed by a 4 day VR and AR course across January and February 2022.
This course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and insight, to design frameworks and explor innovative approaches to project and story development for the rapidly evolving future of culture from the makers of pivotal live, online and live streamed works.
Over the course, there will be live demonstrations, hands-on interactive sessions and discussions centred around:
- speculative design
- transmedia storytelling
- games system design
- visual scripting for noncoders
- unity games engine
- virtual reality & augmented reality
- onboarding & offboarding
- managing project
- workflows and budgeting
