2nd July, 10am to 5pm - Digital Glassworks
Gaming Station
Delve into our games station in the Digital Glassworks Atrium and play a mixture of retro pioneering games, which set the standard of how we enjoy gaming today, as well as some of the more modern best PC title including: Mario 64, Goldeneye, Fortnite Battle Royale, The Sims/Sim City, Minecraft, The Elder Scrolls, Dragon Age: Origins, Mass Effect, Rocket League, Journey, What Remains of Edith Finch and more.
We will also have running a screening of various documentaries & interviews exploring gaming history for people to watch alongside the gamers.
Green Screen Studio
Join us to find out more about real time virtual production using Unreal Engine via our brand new Green Screen Studio.
You will have the chance to put yourself in a virtual environment for a fully immersive experience.
VR and Immersive Content
We will also have a number of VR experiences available including: Acorn: Attack Of The Squirrels, Keep Talking And Nobody Explodes, Beat Saber, The Lab, Curious Tale of the Stolen Pets and many more.
We will also have available a number of VR short films for people to experience, including Traveling While Black, INVASION and Lost.
Our new Digital Hub in Folkestone is part of the new Hi3 Network partnership, which includes Screen South, Christchurch University, London Southbank University, Creative Folkestone and Maidstone Studios, and has recently secured ERDF funding to provide space, facilities, opportunities and expertise to support creative innovators to develop ideas and practice.
